Many certs: 1 year. Let's Encrypt: 90 days. Renew before expiry.
Check fails?
CORS or firewall may block external API. Check directly in browser.
How to check SSL expiry?

SSL cert expiry guideline?
Commercial 1–2 years. Let's Encrypt 90 days, auto-renew common. 30+ days left = safe.

SSL vs TLS?
